it is a cause for celebration for i have finished typing the 27 pages mintues for the first ordinary meeting! it almost took my life! oh my goodness! many many more to come!

while waiting to play dodge ball at SRC on a Friday night, i shall blog about children's day! :D

had a ALPHEUS dinner at new york new york on wed which was a children's day cum hari raya! we were supposed to meet at 6pm at city hall and for once i was the earliest to arrive at 5.30! there was nothing to shop so i went to burger king and entertained mysef with my DS.

ehs, surprise surprise! yanwei was the first to arrive wors! at 6.05pm with xinyun and subsequently we just waited at the mrt for everyone to come. there was no more big table available at nyny so the waiters jus merged like 3 tables for us.

me,shiru and sab decided to order 3 dishes and share them. i was feeling adventurous so i suggested sharing the giant burger which costs $32.90! boy was it giant! we put ashton's sandwich against the plate of the burger and it was really 小巫见大巫！i shall upload the photos later to prove my point! and to add to the giant burger, the 3 of us ordered another half chicken pasta! faints! my stomach almost burst! whoo hoo!


the last time me, sab and pok were at nyny, we didnt managed to get the candy floss. so this time after we had placed our orders, we ran to the candy floss machine and asked the waiter if we could have candy floss :D he demostrated on how to scoop the candy floss up with the chopstick and he gave us chopstick to try. when he started the machine, he was like 'ok, now you can put the chopstick in!' but the 3 of us were having question marks swimming ard our minds! where is the candy floss?? in the end, the guy gave up and jus scoop the candy floss out for us :D


ashton made a dice out of the candy floss! i use the tomato sauce to dot the numbers onto the dice but the moment the tomato sauce touched the 'dice', it burnt through the candy floss like some kind of acid! there was this huge gaping hole in the middle of the dice and being the person who is afraid of holes, my hair stood up! oh my god! the rest of them were still trying to throw the dice at me tho i was like shrieking and trying to get away! in the end, i threw it into a glass of water and it disappeared like magic! leaving behind the remains of the tomato sauce at the bottom of the cup!

apparently, there is a challenge at nyny that if an individual can finish the giant burger on his/her own, they wouldn have to pay for the burger and they will get free flow of root beer! all these we were only told when the waiter came to clear the plate! like what the?? so we made a pact with the waiter that next time sab will come to nyny and finish the burger herself and in return she will get the candy floss machine! :D

though there was only 9 of us: shiru, xinyun, sab, yanwei, ivan, edwin, melvin, ashton and me, i must say that it is a hell load of fun! i love the feeling that though we do not get to hang out as often as we like in sch, the bonds between us doesnt diminish. we can still talk, laugh and poke fun at one another :)) the wonders of fate that brought us together (((:
