its the weekend!! nowadays i jus look forward to the weekend and nothing more! piles of tutorial and lots of tests! jus had a econs practise paper again on wed and the resultant effect is of cos a wobbly hand and a 'sprained almost ready to drop' neck!! y you might ask since i didnt complain of these symptoms during mid years! well, we had the prac paper in the lt where the tables are super low and leg room super cramped!

anyways, 80% of the ques they gave for the prac paper was from the mid years! exactly the same! but the only ques that i attempted again was the comparative advantage ques! i didnt dare to touch the interest rates de again! i dun wanna get another 8!

after econs prac paper, ah kahr, tiying, valerie, serene and me went for dinner at pastamania cause ah khar had a craving! hahas... when we went into pastamania, there was nobody and we sat at a table for 6... samuel was coming to join us too so valerie put her bag at another table to chop seats... but as the people begin to get more and more, valerie had no choice but to take her bag away! so samuel had to be terrorised by us! hahas... kidding kidding! i had baked rice with cream of mushroom soup for dinner and it was yummy yummy!! after dinner, i could nto resist temptation to try the chocolate banana pizza for dessert so i ordered one serving! yummilicious! it was fun eating dinner with them and talking and laughing the time away :) i like the atmosphere and the company :) tho we were being very BRIGHT LIGHTBULBS! hahas... off home we went at about 8 plus cause there was a hist test the next day for me and the long long tutorial that needs to be done! valerie went off with samuel and ah khar took red line while me, serene and sirta took purple line! :D

mr mao is mean mean mean!! we were supposed to have a fact test on thurs and it was tested until pre ww2 nationalism... but cause he gave back our paper during lecture, we didnt have the time for the test... so we said postphone the test to next week and we were so happy! BUT he was extending all thats tested all the way to decolonialization!! oh my god!! suddenly so much more to study!! haiyo!!

harry potter the final book is coming out at 7.01am tmr but i didnt buy! the price is frightening!! i dun mind reading the book at a later date but pls pls!! anyone ard me pls dun tell me the ending!! i swear i will slaughter you on the spot!!

Happy 18th birthday!! i'm not wishing myself happy birthday but because i had a very happy birthday!! :D lots of people to show my thanks to!!

the first hint of birthday started on friday, 13 july after gp lesson when i was supposed to meet sihui at our usual table... but it turned out that sirts, valerie and ah khar came down first and we were discussing about gp results when the 3 of them started singing birthday song! hahas... was quite shock and tiying took a plastic bag out of her bag with an overall in it!! they pushed me into the toilet to try... i was wearing our GREEN class tee shirt that day and the overall happens to be green as well so i looked like a tree! hahas... but without the GREEN class tee shirt, the overall is nice by itself :) even my mum says so!

after lessons on friday, it was going to apple strudel to meet ming for dinner with jovena... she had to wait 3 hours for me cause my lesson ends at 5.30.. heh heh... we took bus down to thomson and we couldnt get ming cause her phone conked up!! in the end, it was me and jovena sitting in the apple strudel cafe waiting for ming... we were talking and talking when suddenly jovena asked me to turn ard! and i was greeted with a big signboard of "Happy birthday Joanne" with ming holding it! quite shocking!! hahas... anyways, we then had a nice time talking over dinner and laughing at every single thing that was said! hahas... den me and jovena went to the toilet! i came back from the toilet to find our dessert of apple strudel on the table already! but my portion had candles on it! hahas... surprise surprise!! the candles were relightable one!! and i blow and blow and blow but the candles jus wouldnt extinguish!! it was emitting sparks somemore!! hahas... in the end, i managed to blow the candle and dig into my yummy apple strudel!! den jovena asked me to take her water bottle from her bag and at the same time take out a plastic bag which happens to have my present in it! it was a winnie the pooh cup and handphone pouch!! cutie!! :D thankie guys!! after dinner, we went to thomson plaza to walk to digest our food to find that 90% of the shops were closed! in the end, we ended up taking photos in the toilet! we were drawing weird stares from the people entering the toilet! hahas... overall it was a fun day!!

sun was the actual day! my dear brother woke me up by throwing the present at me! he gave me a pooh bear handphone pouch too! hahas... now i got 2 pooh bear handphone pouches! i was supposed to watch movie with ming but my grandmother called to say that she wanted to bring me out for breakfast! and we decided on vivo city!! cause i want my first 18 year old breakfast to be hong kong style!! yay! so i was a statisfied 18 year old on the morn of 15 july 2007! after breakfast was off to toyrus to tong the figurines like what me and yumin did after mid years!! i managed to tong many pooh bear keychains which are currently hanging on my bag! so uber uber cute!! yesh! and i played the first jackpot machine in my life! no fun de... dunno y people like to feed money into those dumb machines! i rather use the money for shopping!

at night, my aunt treated us to dinner at seletar country club :) steamboat! the food was yummily delicious! my dear mum forgot to buy a birthday cake and my cousin ran all the way down to the cafe to try and buy a cake... but it turn out that those round cakes were sold out and only left one slice one slice de... so my cousin bought one slice and after blowing the candle, every one of the 12 of us dig out a small piece of the cake to yi si yi si! hahas... like so ke lian but i dun mind! after dinner was karoke time!! it has been a long long time since i sang with my jie mei! we only managed to sing 2 songs cause the karoke lounge was closing but it was still nice :)

mon had the most surprises :) had morn pe[long long story] so was in school by 7.30... such an unearthly hour on a mon morn!! after running 5 rounds, situps, spilt jumps and pulls ups, i was seriousl wobbly! and the worst was that we didnt get a chance to bathe cause no more toilets and i could smell myself for the whole of econs tutorial! anywyas, when we went to take our bags, i saw a bundle of flowers on my bag and i suspected something! hahas... it was from papa bear aka sihui! it was a bundle of yellow orchirds and she act asked me "ugly hors?"... i hear until gong gong... where got pple ask if the flowers are ugly de and sihui came up with this weird logic of how nice flowers are too ke qi and the uglier the flower means the more fren we are... so i supposed we are very fren? hahas... trust her to tink of that!


assembly at 8.45 in the morn when the sun was high up in the sky was nuts! so hot! tiying, ah kar and valerie gave me a bag :) those with stuts for legs that i have been wanting to buy for ages :) and it was in my fave colour of white! thankies dearies!

after econs tutorial, i smelt a match stick burning and it turned out that my 'birthday cake' from sihui was FISHCAKE and she stuck a candle into it! my dear class sang a birthday song for me :) and they got stanley to bring the fishcakes to me to blow.. haiyo and baoqi started chanting 亲一个亲一个!" naughty girl! hahas... nice surprise!

due to the super screwed up timetable of my class, tiying, valerie, ah khar and serene only had gp lecture and they decided to go tuition first to save cab fare for mr tong... but ruoyi and jiemin waited for me until 5 to cab downfor tuition... fast forward, when we were standing outside the tuition classroom, i immediately saw that the dear girls had decorated the whole board with a big big HAPPY BIRTHDAY! and they filled the whole board with drawings of REAL DOLL and roo and cockroach and eggs!! [insider info] ahaahahas... and they created a long long sentence... hmph! suddenly the light went off and i held people singing birthday song! i turned ard to see valerie opening the door and ah khar pushing a cake in on a trolley! hahahas... i was quite shocked but super super touched!! sorry serene, i didnt cry but i was still touched! h :D thankies darlings!! it was strawberry cake and i was fighting with ruoyi! cause she wanted to push my head into the cake but i was stronger!! :D

inn poh made me a super cute card and bought me a roo soft toy keychain which is now hanging on my new bag! :D thankies too!!

overall, it has been a nice nice 18 birthday and i have lots of people to thank for it! :D lots of msges and greeting online, sms, birthday cards and friendster comments :)

i'm back!! first post for july!! i wanted to blog on 777(7july2007) but didnt get the chance to cause i reached home at 11.30 and had to prepare the bbq food... by the time i had the chance to log onto the comp, it was already 8july! sadly but its ok!! i had been having so much fun since the end of mid years!! it seems as if a levels were over!! hahas... ehs, we all deserve a break k?! we spent more than a month slogging our guts out for mid years!! now all that is left is getting back the results which i am not optimistic about!! jus enjoying life for now! i'm blogging while waiting for my hair to dry and waiting for my show to load :)

mid years was quite xing ku especially the last week.. had a lot to study but my papers were already quite spread out... there were people worst than me like sirta's and serene's combi of subjects... they had papers every day and serene even suffered from 'overdose of study'-- she was feeling really terrible on the day of chinese paper... anyways, when chinese finished on the friday of the first week, i already started to relax and let go le.. hahas... den it was back to study again on sunday.. sigh! but its all over!! i had my last paper on thurs and it was time for another show! 写意人生！i realised nowadays i'm quite powderful when it comes to watching drama serials!　

fri: nancy drew with yumin at vivo :) that girl hors, cant stand suspense de... she will always cover her face with the popcorn when there is a cliffhanger... hahas... and she was telling me about how she cant watch horror films! after that, we went toyrus! so many tong tong machines!! i spent 6 dollars tong-ing figurines! :) now they are all displayed on my bed side! brightens up my day and room! after that, it was a secret mission!!

sat: kbox with helen and gillian in the morn! after kbox, we went to this fashion and took the same top but of diff colours and went to the fitting room to try it on and take photos :) i took green, gillian took black and helen took red de... and helen purposely took a white shorts so that our bottoms would be white in unison too! :) it was grocery shopping at night at carrefour :) i tink i can really work well within a budget! hahas... bought a lot of food! salmon fish, sausages, bacon, chicken wing, sotong... you name it we have it!! hahas!


sun: the day i have been looking forward to most since before mid years! bbq with my group and yifang's group! woke up early in the morn by my mum to do housework... den they went out, leaving me to finish my show and waiting for jovena's mum to fetch us to pasir ris... jovena came to my house at about 12.30 and 出发了！we were the first there.... when we were struggling to carrying the stuff to the pit cause the drinks and charcoal were really heavy! we saw this person skating towards us and at first i couldnt recognise the person at all when i heard jovena exclaiming"help us carry! very heavy!" den i realised that it was zuo sheng!! but he super mean cans?! never help us carry, jus skate beside us like escorts!


serene haven come with the coolers so me and jovena jus sat under the sun and talked the time away... i guess it was during this time that i got sun burnt! :X serene, ruoyi and wenxin turned up with the coolers :) and we put the food and drinks into the coolers... yumin, jamie and jing wen arrived too and it was cycling time!! HOWEVE, we had a prob cause only me, jovena and ruoyi know how to cycle! serene, wen xin and yumin doesnt know how to! so we were debating whether to rent tandum bikes nots... i was trying it out with ruoyi and yay! i suceeded! i can now cycle tandum bikes! jovena also could but we ended up with one tandum bike for me and serene and individual bikes for everyone... after riding serene to one end of the pasir ris park, i rode wenxin to the other end. goodness! the other end of pasir ris park was so confusing with its so many diff paths cans?! we ended up lost on our way back and ended up at the main road! but we still managed to find our way back! its so shuang to jus ride a bike with the wind blowing at you and not having to worry about studies :D the best part was cycling downhill! we made our way back jus in time cause it started raining!


we shifted everything to the pavillion and sat down and chit chat till the rain stop... jiemin, joanne, jeannette, yifang and lewis came at about 4.45 jus when the rain was stopping... we started fire at 5 cause there were people who needed to go by 7 plus... zuo sheng was still boasting about how he can jus start the fire with one matchstick cause he used to be in scouts! ha! the fire starting process was super funny cans!? me and jiemin started to clear the water from the pit with kitchen wipes cause i forgot to bring an old cloth... zuo sheng was starting the fire but lewis was jus standing at the side looking and not helping!! so we said zuo sheng is 英雄 and lewis is 狗熊! ahahahahahs... who ask him dun help start the fire! wows, we really couldnt start the fire despite having PRENIUM CHARCOAL! the charcoals were like round round square square de.. weirdo... and the fire starters were of an inferior brand! hahas... it was said that the 公鸡brand was still the best! hahas... we had to ask the next door pit to help us! so embarrassing! hahas... we managed to get the fire started at about 6 and started bbq-ing! :)

yay! my cooking skills 被肯定! okays or rather my marinating skills! hahas... it is said that the sotong and salmon fish which i marinated myself was nicee!! yay!! and i introduced a new bbq dish -- bacon!! everyone was fighting for a piece of bacon! hahas... i was eating a bacon when jovena tapped me on the shoulder and i turned ard with the bacon hanging from my mouth and she said i look like a long tongue ghost!! hahahas...

i was standing at the pit eating the logans that ruoyi and serene's has peeled and exclaiming that i love eating fruits outdoors because i can jus throw the seeds anywhere when jovena, zuosheng and lewis gang up on me cans?! they were protesting and saying that i very unglam and 没有公德心! hmph! i continued eating my logans in my fave way den someone said 'you throw until very happy hors?'　CAN A NOT?! ahahahahahs....

we were taking photos ard the pit and there was this particular photo with special effects! at first we didnt know what happen until yifang burst out laughing when she looked at the pic.. we crowded ard her and we burst out laughing too!! cause it was super super funny! lewis was standing in the direction of the smoke when yifang snapped the pic, so he looked like a ghost emerging from the pit! ha! and he was the only one kenna! ahahahahas! he demanded that we delete the photo but we refused! hahas...

serene's mother brought watermelon!! and ladles to scoop the watermelon... so cute los! small small de! hahas... and the watermelon was super sweet and juicy! i was sharing a bowl with jovena... after that we were playing with the ice in the cooler cause no food le.. we dipped our hands into the ice water and competed to see who could tahan the longest! ruo yi and i cannot tahan the cold and we strectched our hands out of the water and rushed to the pit in an attempt to get some warmth back into our hands! My hands were numbed to the point whereby I couldn’t even feel the heat from the fire! Later serene challenged lewis to do the same as a fight against pl and vs… he didn’t want to and we kept pressuring him! in the end, serene won!! Yay! Girl power!!

little things here and there made the outing really enjoyable :) jus sitting or standing ard with great food and great company :D of cos the best was being able to laugh out loud like nobody's business! :)

We packed up and left pasir ris park at about 9.30… serene’s father was fetching serene and ruoyi so it was jovena, me, jeannette, zuo sheng and lewis taking 403 back to pasir ris interchange… me, jovena and jeannette dropped off at white sands and we took 87 home… nicee nicee day!

Ruoyi, yifang, kaili msg-ed me sweet msgs at night:) you are welcome my dears! We shall have another gathering of this sort at the end of the year again! Our groups get along too well!! Hahas…

its back to school again!! boring boring school!! but i love the company!!
