It has been ages since I was here and the holidays are almost one third gone! :D
Have been having an immerse lots of fun so far though my days are pcked to the brim every week (((: mum hasn't 哄 me out to get a job cause i got enough tuition to sustain my income! :D with 7 tutees and another one starting next month, I dun have time to hold a regular job! :D not that I am complaining! The flexible timing for tuitions allows me to go out and meet frens, exercise in the morning, learn driving, do jigsaw puzzles, write chinese compositions and basically do the thousand and one things that i dun have time to do during school time! Technically it's me time for myself ((:
Just spent a weekend in genting to catch the 'all about men live in genting' concert featuring 陈豪、郑嘉颖、王宗泽、吴卓羲！quite a break I needed! We booked the tickets and accomodation and plane tickets in the midst of my exam period when my stress levels were at it's peak! I told my mum that if I dun get out of Singapore soon I will go mad! :D quite shiok to be able to just pack and go! (: this life, I'm loving it! :D spent 80% of the time in the casino! :D managed to win rm700! Makes my finger itchy again to play jackpot! :D I guess this is what you called addiction! :P
Went back to st nicks with Helen and Yining for orange bowl! :D we went back on a Wednesday aka fried food day! I went to heaven that day! :D so many familiar food and tastes! ((: so disappointing! None of our teachers recognize us! It only further proves that we are getting older! Sigh! When we asked one of the girls to take a photo for us outside the 3dee classroom, they asked us if we were seniors and we mumbled that we graduated almost 5 years ago! We didn't want to acknowledge this fact out loud! :D after putting on a lot of calories, we headed to helen's house for tennis to burn off the calories and Bao xian joined us this time! ((: tennis is hard work!
Had a karoke session with Ashton, Shiru, Liying and Mingee! Surprisingly isn't it! Mingee! Hahaha! :D Act Mingee didn't sing! She say he paid $8 to listen to concert! :D after our Kbox session, we went to peranakan musuem st Shiru's suggestion! Not bad! Was quite funn! But we were making so much noise that the security guard had to come and ask us to shut up! :D
Been exercising very regularly with my fellow hougangers! Mainly swimming and badminton! When we first played badminton, our
muscles ache until it felt like our right side were paralysed! Now I an proudly say that we dun even ache after each badminton session! :D but there are times when it feels like my bones are going to fall apart soon! :( OLD already!

went to see mann ying off on saturday! mannying is leaving for australia to pursue her dream of being a doctor (: but the bad thing is that mann ying is not coming back to singapre! )): after she finishes he studies, she will return to her native country, Taiwan! ): frankly speaking, when i saw mann ying walking into the departure hall, there was a tightening of my throat ): 这一别，不知何时再见! you all might say that technology is so advance nowadays, we can always talk to each other on skype or msn or even fly to meet each other. but then, there is something missing when the person is not an sms away but rather thousands of miles away! sigh! i will miss you mann ying!! 7 years as friends, as 4dee'05, as old girls of st nicks (: i will rmb you de! ((:

whoo hoo! its only the start of the year and i have already attended 3 21st! omg!
first 21st was deborah's and jie ying's at sam's house! sam was flying off to hong kong for her sep (JEALOUS!) and we had a fare well for her cum 21st birthday celebration for deb and jie ying whose birthday were 8th and 4th jan repsectively!:D we had a bbq at sam's place and sophia called it, it was low cost bbq! a bbq for 8 girls is really low cost! cause we cant eat much!:D a few chicken wings, satays, otahs, mashmallows, a plate of rice and bee hoon are more than enough for us already! :D ovreall its a small cosy gathering! havem seen this girls have centuries! cldds have always been a collective memory for us all (: after 4dee, they are the ones who i have been the glad-est to meet in st nicks ((:
last sat attended tricia's 21st birthday! tricia is my oldest friend! we have known each other since pri 3 which makes us friends for 11 years! how often can you call a person ur friend for more than a decade and the girls were laughing at me cause i was acknowledging the fact that i was old! haha! i always dun mind acknowledging that i am old de! cause been able to grow old is a good thing! means that i will live a long life ((:
it was like a mini class gathering!:D bao xian was going ard drawing ribbons on everyone's hand! we were saying that it looks like some club entrance stamp! :D after eating the super delicious food (esp the curry chicken! which ming wanted to bring home the whole pot!), we were entertaining ourselves with saboutuer! bao xian is destined to be a saboteur! :D we played so many rounds and all the rounds she always chose th saboteur card! is this fate or what? :D yifang was hiding in a corner asking for people to play the animal monopoly with her but we refused! :D
when it was time to sing the birthday song, we just had to show our girl school power :D we were cheering like nobody's business! i think tricia's other frens must be thinking that we are mad! :D 好怀念！the good old days when we were cheer on and on for practically everything on earth! bao xian, yifang and sok ing used to tag team de!whoosh! how i miss those days!
though this coming year will be a year of holes in the pocket, it is also a time for me to meet up with all my dear dear frrens ((:

day 4/6: macau! there is seriously nothig much to do in macau except for hopping from one casino to another! macau once is more than enough for me le! :D i much prefer hong kong! i think the 4 photos below pretty much summarises what macau is all abt! :D

day 5: shopping spree at zhuhai! zhuhai was another shopping heaven! the things are even cheaper than hong kong's nv ren jie! i managed to find my pair of mouse shoes which i wasnt able to get it online! (: the shopping centre right outside the customs was HUGE! we were there for one whole day and we only mangaed to cover the first floor of the shopping centre! i think if we were to cover the whole shopping mall, i would have to 包 a whole aeroplace jus for my baggage! :D not much photos for zhu hai cause we were busy shopping!!
the macau customs leading to zhuhai! all i can say is that this is the slowest customs that i have ever cleared! it took us 1 hour each to cross over to the other side! 1 hour from macau to zhuhai and another hour when coming back from zhuhai to macau!
welcome to zhuhai! boy was a glad t see this FINALLY!
non ah tiongs are called aliens! ): dun they have a better word like 'foreigners'? tsk tsk!
i didn get to see chen hao inth flesh! so i shall settle for his poster !:D
16 pairs of shoes! me7 pairs and my mum 9 pairs! whe i tell people that i bought back 7 pairs of shoes, one of their first reaction would be 'you buy back so many pairs of shoes, ur mum never scold you ar?' and i will tell them that my mum brought back 9 pairs of shoes! even more than me and their jaws would drop! super excited! cant wait to wear all my shoes! :D
overall, this has been a very awesome trip! ((: i absoutely love everything abt hong kong! so much so that i am aiming for a hong kong sep in year 3 sem 2!(: yay! it feels super awesome to be able to hear and speak cantonese 24 hours a day 7 days a week! :D give me my hong kong citizenship! :D HONG KONG ROCKS MY SOCKS!! (((: <3 <3 <3

frist entry of 2010 but to blog abt my hk trip! the highligh of 2009! :D hong kong is da bomb! so much so that i didnt want to come back to sg! :D i think the country that i go makes a lot of difference as to whether or not i want to come home! :D whenever i come home from malaysia, i am super happy to see changi airport and i will come home feeling proud that i am a singporean! but when i come back form hong kong this time, i sorta dun wan to see changi airport and wish that i had hong kong citizenship too! :D not that i wan to give up my singapore citizenship! (:
day 1: arrival in macau, take a ferry over to hong kong, shopping spree in 女人街 and seafood dinner in 西贡！
the flight was like an ungodly hour at 6am in the morn!
whenever we watch hk dramas, we always hear them saying that they are going to 西贡 for seafood so we thought we would go and check it out! and we were really not disappointed!
for about HK$700, we could have 5 different dishes of seafood! we had cheese lobster, 2 abalones each, steamed fish, fried crab and cray fish! everything was big and fresh! def worth the money! ((:
live raw abalone looks really yucky! but it tastes yummlicious! :D
yummy and big prawns!
day 2: 黄大仙temple、万佛寺in沙田、factory outlets in 东涌、shopping spree part 2 in 女人街！
apparently this temple changed a lot according to my mum but i dun rmb nuts abt it cause i was here when i was only 4 years old!! :D super smoky!
this is the thousand buhhda that the top of the hill/mountain! didnt take photos cause i almost died clmbing all the stone stairs!! totally zapped my energy for the rest of the day!! but the climb was pretty worth it!:D
this was taken in 东涌 where i bought my disneyland tix! :D the factory outlets didnt allow me to take photos in front or inside their shop! ):
