there can be no other better word to describe me today and the whole of this week! woots!

thurs
PSI hunting and meeting sponsor with desmond, yanwei and shuli. for the first time in many many months, I WAS ON TIME!!! i think i deserve a pat on the back! hahaha! cause if i late i have to treat lunch! :P i was so determined to be early dat i got nightmare the night before regarding this meeting! scary!!

rotted in burger king for about 1.5 hours den we decided to take photos for PSI. as the time was nearing for us to meet the boss of decoder's cafe, we went ard holland v asking everyone if they knew where this place was. only to have everyone look at us blankly! in the end, after many phone calls and pleas for help, we found out that decoder's was act at clementi! not holland v!

aiyoyo! but i found back traces of my sec sch days in holland v! each a cup! my fruity yoghurt! whoo hoo! (:

after meeting the sponsor, we went ard clementi taking more photos for PSI. when we finished, we headed to the arcade!! :D all work no play makes jojo a dull girl! :D whahahaha! yanwei lost to xiao mei mei when he play the basketball machine! :D

fri
arts camp registration! reported for duty at 11 plus. the response was seriously not bad (: hanged ard until 1.30 den went for lunch with zhijun (: shokudo! whahaha! as always!

tuition from 3-6 before heading back to city hall to meet zhijun, ade and supposedly yanwei for dinner! we closed shop at 8.10 with the 70th freshie!

zhijun, ade and i went to ting tai feng to chop seats and we sms yanwei that we were there. so happily thinking that yanwei will be there to finish the food, we ordered super a lot! only to find out that mr soh yanwei was on the way home when ade called him! whoosh! so we called evon to for help!!

the xiao long bao was whoo hoo! superb! it was so nicee that zhijun wanted to eat 10 笼小笼包！whahahaha! slip of tongue!

i have to get up at 6 tmr for the bare ur sole charity event! so i am off to bed to replenish as much sleep as i can!! nights world!

jojo has pushed her limits yet again! for 60 hours, she has slept for only 4 hours! whoo hoo! jus came back from ARTS CAMP PRE CAMP 2009! super tiring but super satisfying too! ((:

one of my programmes: Sports Day was tested out and i was station ICs for the rest of the programmes that was tested out! all the programmers were zombie-fied by the end of pre camp but i mus really salute our 2 dpds: shuli and yanwei! the 2 of them like roborts de! no need sleep de! and the best thing is that when we are sleep deprived, we tend to be irritable and bad tempered. but the 2 of them can still smile and push on! woots! for that, they are my new ou xiangs! more of endurance to come during arts camp!

i mus promote banana boat sun block lotion here! its super good cause i didnt get burnt! i needed such a powerful sun block cause my mum say that she will disown me if i dare to come home as black as i was after arts camp last year! ):

not allowed to disclose too much details here but my fave station is the night games station! (: lots of shampoo and foam!

i was paired up with desmond aka mr wings for beach games and ours was a real disgusting station! one that involve a whole og sharing a biscuit coated with chilli sauce! wah seh! i wanted to make the biscuit more disgusting so i dripped 2 drops of h2o onto the chilli sauce. den desmond say got chemical reaction, the sauce will become warm de! i cant believe that i really believe him lahs! i put my hand over the biscuit to feel if there is really heat emitted and he pia my hand into the sauce! YUCKS! it smelt super terrible lahs!! grrr! of cos i retaliated by smearing the sauce on my hand onto his leg! hmph! sweet revenge!

and i swear never ever to take a van driven by jing chun! the programmers took the van that jing chun was driving to sentosa to set up log for beach games and boy was that the scariest ride of my life! the van engine will suddenly die down and we had 3 close shaves! the situation was so bad that jing chun had to stop on the highway and zikang, cyan and desmond got off to take a cab! it was that bad! but when you are on tight bidget, a about to fall apart van is all that you can afford!

the sun was scorchingly hot on both days! i could have evaporated on the spot! the 'chilli, garlic, onion' ritual was super effctive! shuli bought chilli padi and there was 8 chilli padi in each packet of garlic, onion and chilli! there was a total of 8 packets for every programme whcih meant 64 chilli padis in total! jus imagine how spicy the 64 chilli padis are and you can roughly gauge how hot the weather was! remind me to bring my water bottle for arts camp! phews!

i mus be mad! 3 entries in one night! but as i am bloggin i jus realise that there are a lot of things that i wan to blog about! this post is super overdue but better late than never! :P

this is the first 广播剧 that i have followed diligently from the beginning to the end! (: though each episode is only about 10 mins, nonetheless its a refreshing break from TV serials. i applaude 丁志勇for coming up with the story totally on his own!

my fave character is Shirley! her canto accent is powderful!! (: i rmb how pok and i used to listen every day and sms each other to laugh at li yi who plays the Shirley character! whahahaha! cant wait for more 广播剧 ((:

on a bad side, i haven been able to find a job! there was one tuition centre job which pays me $20 per hour to teach for 17 hours a week which amounts to a lot of money at the end of the month but in the end i guess they didnt wan me! ): haven been able to find tuition assignments too!

since the time i have been MIA from my blog, i have

1) watched angels and demons with the arts camp ocomm for inspiration for our programmes since its our theme for arts camp. me and see loo didnt read the summary of the book before hand and we were quite lost during the show! :P but it was awesome! (: thou super gory and i still cant believe that its PG!

2) met up with michelle, pok, xin yun, shiru and sab after the first 3 girls returned from taiwan! hearing abt their trip makes me sooo jealous!! i wan to go too! :( caught night at the museum 2 too! laugh until i pengs! super funny! i love the super big ballon dog that was prancing ard the museum and those wobbly head thomas edison! whahahah! SUPER CUTEE! ((:

3) met up with sam! it has been almost one year since i met her! :D had a fun time shopping and chatting with her! meet up more often k sammie! ((:

4) celebrated yanwei's bday with alpheus at mad jack! it has been a long time since i have sat down for a meal with them (: i always love those cosy dinners (: sab,edwin, yanwei, shiru and i ordered the blue mountain burger which was like 3 storeys high! couldnt finish lahs! its was super filling! and the cake that we ordered for yanwei was super chocolaty sinful!

5) went swimming for a couple of times and i discovered that swimming is a thousand times better than running! burns more calories too!

whoo hoo! it has been almost one month since i updated my blog! tsk tsk! no good! lost my momentum liao! exams have finished and the first 3 months of my uni hols are here! however, it is starting to be depressing cause i dun have a job! 3 months is not long not short. even temp jobs need at least 5 months! grrr! have to rely on tuition for now! the one week after hols have been fun fun fun!

zoo with ash and mingee! whoo hoo! 3 years since i have been to the zoo and now there are new attractions! (: i totally love the rainforest kidz world! so many cute ponys! (: oh oh! and we saw this male goat that was chasing after a female goat to make babies! and the zoo keeper told us that it was the mating season :p
caught all the animal shows! after the sealion show, me and mingee went up to the sealion to take photos with it. i got kissed by a sealion! gasps! and its breadth really stinks!! so fishy! but alas! ash didnt managed to get a photo of the sealion kissing me cause my camera was too lug! aiyoyo!
visiting the zoo made me want to apply for the zookeeper job! but but! they only have vacancies for night safari! i dun wan! i wan zoo! never mind! i will wait and wait! i dun believe there wouldnt be one of my 3 months holidays that they need zoo keepers at the zoo! :D
me and mingee were constantly reconstructing what we have learnt in soci of tourism lectures about zoo! :P

pok, shiru, sab and xin yun came over to my house for a baking session! (: we made 2 batches of cupcakes and 1 batch of cookies! yummylicious! :D
we bought almost $70 plus worth of ingredients! tsk tsk! had fun mixing all the diff ingredients, whisking the eggs, melting the chocolates etc! see loo had the role of reading out the instructions and taking photos! and up to now i still cant believe we took a total of 120 photos in just one afternoon!

after eating the very rich and sinful cupcakes, the 5 of us went to clementi gym! thousand of years since i last exercised! tsk tsk! tread mill, cycling machine, biceps, triceps, sit ups! you name it we did it! xin yun still tempt me with bubble tea after our exercise! den like that wouldnt all my efforts go down the drain?! tsk tsk! i not so dumb de! i drink healthy fruit juice! :D

$5 manicure with pok! shuang! i chose midnight blue while pok chose pink! but the quality not very good. the person didnt paint properly de... but oh well, its good for $5 le! grins!:D

pok, xin yun and michelle going taiwan! soooo lucky and i'm sooooo jealous! went to airport with shiru and sab to send them off! xin yun as usual provided us with lots and lots of entertainment! :D
we were sitting at 3 tables joined together and when xin yun went to buy food,we separted one table away and pretended that we dunno xin yun! her expression was as we expected! whahahah! roaring with laughter!
after sending them off, we went to tampines 1 to shop and eat chendol! whoo hoo! act tampines 1 also not much stuff to shop... jus browsing through! i had to restrain the both of them cause they are in danger of having deficit bank accounts! tsk tsk!

that sums up my first week of holidays! june is coming soon! june promises to be an exciting month! :D

3 papers down with 2 more to go! but i feel as if i am holidaying already! but the funny thing is that when i decided not to mug yest, it seems as if the night was very long with nothing to do! the most is going online to watch shows, nua-ing in front of the tv, lying on the bed reading a book, it still seems as if time was passing very very slowly! this is so untypical of lazy and slacker jo! whahahahs! oh well, all the more confirm that i am a person who cannot stand staying at home with nothing to do! so i will definitely not be a housewife next time!!

tsk tsk! anyways, 3 papers down is much much lesser stress on me! thank god! went out to eat with shiru, pok and xin yun at sushi tei yest! to relief stress! whoo hoo! i ate a new dish! cold soba!

tsk tsk! the 3 months holidays are coming soon! it may seem to be a very enjoyable time but the thought of having to look for a job makes me wan to puke! i seriuosly dunno where to find a job! there are potential ones like being a zoo keeper at the night safari, build a bear or sentosa! but what i am hoping is that i will be able to go back to wan bao! the timing more flexible and the pay not bad too.. everything leave till exmas over firs ba! all i know is that i got a lot of things i wan to do during the hols! starting from next fri!

tadah! my brother's bday cake! i think its the cutest bday cake that i have ever seen! :D

xiao pang is 15 years old! :D

woo hoo! the exams are nearing! ): cant wait for them to be over so that i can have my 3 months hols and play play play! :D

jus had a weekend full of food! my brother's bday was on sunday but we celebrated for him on both sat and sun! sat as crab night! we had chilli and butter crabs! and oh my! my mouth can still water when i think of the thickness of the meat when i crack the shell apart! :D yummilicious! sunday was another good meal at swensens cause my brohter wanted the free birthday ice cream! tsk tsk! but i found another yummy dish at swensens other than the chicken baked rice! and that is the baked cheese mussels! oh my! i went to heaven and back! :D i seriously need to run everyday during the hols!

and i have a big fat disgusting blister on my last toe! i was wearing my soon-to-be-in-the-dustbin pair of heels and it was rubbing vigouriously against my toe! the result is a big fat blister! i swear that i am going to box the person that told me that the liquid in the blister was bacteria water and hence we have to burst it! so i happily cut the skin of the blister. den i decided to check wiki for the formation of blisters. only did i find out that the liquid was some kind of plasma that can be found in our blood and that it actually protects the damaged skin and allows it to heal! when the skin has healed, the body will absorb the liquid back into the body and the blister will drop off! and it warned against bursting the skin as it will leave the wound exposed to bacteria! grrr! so now very smart! i have a exposed wound! ):

pok and i are going for a 933 dj course this june! so exciting! pls come faster! :D

yest celebrated xin yun's birthday at swensens with ash, michelle, sab, pok and shiru. the birthday girl totally didnt suspect anything! the night before she was still complaining to me that her birthday this year very sians cause nobody asked her out and even shiru who asked her out did not confirm details with her!

we met at 5.30 to complete the birthday board and as usual everyone was late! have been hearing a lot of the body and face cropping from pok and when i finally saw it yest, i almost fainted! the effect was super hilarious!! but it can also be classified as distubring materials! :D

we were cutting and pasting happily when this indian man came over with his daughter and ask what we were doing! apparently she loves the disney princesses and kept nudging her dad to ask us what we were doing! so we told her that we were making a birthday card! and she stood at our table and looked and looked and looked! :D

in the meantime, shiru was tasked with the job of luring xin yun away from raffles city cause the surprise was supposed to be such that we will go into shokudo first and shiru will bring xin yun in and we will pretend that it was a conincidence! but in the end shokudo was so crowded that we changed our plans to marina square! we ended up at swensens where there was free ice cream for the birthday girl! when xin yun saw us, i think it took a while for everything to sink in! :D

shiru was saying that it was super easy to trick xin yun cause xin yun will jus follow her ard and do whatever shiru ask her to! :D even when shiru say that she wants to go into swensens to find her fren, xin yun jus follow without even asking who shiru is supposedly meeting!

xin yun was oooh-ing and ahh-ing when she saw the board! while waiting for the food to be served, we made xin yun pose for all ridiculous photos which are now on display on facebook! laugh until my stomach ache! cause xin yun will refuse to take the photos and we will threaten to break her board! den she will guai guai pose for us! whahahahahs! :D

after dinner, we went over to esplanade cause xin yun going to treat us to HÄAGEN-DAZS! but alas there was no tables for 7 pple so we went to the roof top to take photos while waiting for the pple to call us when there was a available table. once again! we made xin yun pose for pictures! :D

there is a classic moment! we asked xin yun to bend her hands into a heart shape with her back facing us! when she was posing, we ran to hide behind one of the potted plants! laugh until pengs!! it was super funny seeing her standing in the middle of the garden with that pose! she finally realised that we were playing a prank on her and she came to look for us with that angry expression that none of us were scared of! :D xin yun was still graumbling that she went 'yoo hoo! are you guys done? are you guys there?' this time we really jus laugh until roll on the floor! whahahahhas!

we finally had a table at HÄAGEN-DAZS at about 10! we were playing with the cups of water! we had to drink our water until it was less than the person's before us! and we arrange the glasses according to the water level and attempted to make something musical out of it! but oh my god! we were jus making a lot of noise that made a lot of other table pple look at us!

the 7th heaven that we ordered was da bomb! which also cost a bomb! xin yun called for the bill and asked the waitress if they accpeted nets which they didnt! so she had to go and withdraw the money! jus as she was leaving to withdraw money, the waitress came with the bill and xin yun said 'can i have the bill later??' the waitress jus stunned there! super funnys! tsk tsk! see what i mean when i say that xin yun should jus quit sch and be a comedian! :D

anyways, happy birthday girl! you have officially reached the big TWO! :D

oh yeah! i forgot to mention that i almost killed teo xin yun the night before! dedicate song to her on 933 and she actually didnt hear it! its not because she didnt listen! her ears were glued to the radio but she was arguing with pok when the dj read out my dedication and teo xin yun jus happily filtered it out!! grrr!!

400th post! my lungs hurt like mad jus as i am typing this! ): have been bombarded by germs for the past week or so! fever, running nose, sore throat, loss of voice, headache, cough! you name it i have it! grrr! lousy weather cum the sooo mnay assignments that have been harrassing me! boy am i glad that march is over! march is a horribly busy month! ):

anyways, since the time that i was away, ash's birthday has been celebrated by alpheus! :D his birthday was on april 1st! i rmb the first time when he told me his birthday, i was like 'dun bluff! april fool joke is it??' but yesh! our dear uncle chong's birthday is on none other than april fool's day! :D couldnt join them for the celebration cause still having fever but i know they had a blast! (:

something that i wan to mention is about the dedication that i made on radio! :D thurs night was fighting against time to finish 2 assignments: SEA and soci of tourism. pok and i were listening to 933 when she randomly ask me to sms me to dedicate song...

whahahas! and cong qing really read out the sms! super funnys! cause the 3 of us were sticking our ear to the radio waiting desperately for him to read out the sms since he was going to go off air soon! and the thing is that i forgot to state my name so have to listen for the last 4 numbers of my hp. when the dj finally read the my hp number, we were so excited! :D

when he read the part abt being bombarded by assignments, he went '你们真的是kelian.com!' whahahas! and the big sigh part he really sighed super loudly over the airwaves! and he couldnt pronounce pok as 'poke' so he pronounced it as 'PORK'! whahahas! super funnys! okays! cheap thrill! but when you are up to your neck with assignments, its moments like these that make things more bearable! :D whahhas!

the funnier thing is that pok called me immediately after the dedication was read out and we decided to put www.kelian.com as our msn nic and see who will really go and check out this non existant website. den that person is a goon! :p and it turned out that sab was the first one who went to check out the website! whahahahas! 哭笑不得!

last week was a crazy week! there was so many things to do and man i glad that last week was over! which meant that Arts Quiz was over! really a big big thankyews to my ocomm! though SOMEBODY really irritated the hell out of me with his 'hon gen hon gen!' the whole day! grrr! come any nearer and i will bite!

celebrated jovena and cindi's birthday on sunday!

celebrated joveena's birthday at changing appetites! we were seated at hte sofa seats and she was commenting about how dirty her cushions were den i asked her 'you want something cleaner to hug?' she was looking at me with a very weird expression den we presented her with our present! a pillow with a big big photo of us! :D

when we finished our main course, i signaled for the waiter to bring our mud pie cum birthday cake together with the birthday board that i left at the counter earlier. he only served the mud pie with a candle and i asked him about where the board was. and he actually asked me whether i wan to put a candle on the board!!! excuse me! the board is made of paper and plastic! how the hell can you put a candle on it??! grrr! sorry jov! your surprise is spoilt by him!! ):

after changing appetites, we went shopping for shoes! there wasnt any shoes to my liking in john's little but jov and ming managed to find clothes that they like (: i had to leave erly cause going for cindi's 21st at pasir ris! crazy crazy! i forgot that there was a IT fair in town and i had to squeeze my way to the mrt station!

met sab, xin yun and shiru at pasir ris interchange before hedaing to pasir ris park. the whole way i was quarreling with xin yun and we came to a conclusion that i have a deadly stare! hahahas! i only have to stare at xin yun and i will win the quarrel! :D

i realised that everyone's mothers can cook very nice curry chicken! jealous! my mum can only cook a few dishes! we were happily eating down all the sausages!!!! yesh! eat them den they will disapper!! whahahahas!

cindi's theme was pink and white and her birthday cake was also super pink and white! hahahs! it looked like a wedding cake! :P but it was super pretty such that cindi couldnt bear to cut it! :D

we found a group of peopel who were more cam whore than us! hahahas! cindi's sec sch frens took lots nad lots of photos! more than us! hahahas! shiru has finally found a rival! hahahas!

reached home at about 11 and it was rushing projects and proposals all the way to 4.30! so i was half dead when i went to sch yest! extreme tiredness and getting soaked in the rain made me have a fever and running nose! but i had the excuse to sleep! so i slept from 10-11 this morn! shiok!

celebrated sab's 20th birthday at old school timbre! all thes while, i have been wondering where does the long stair case outside plaza sing leads to and i finally found out on sat! timbre! total of 146 steps! super tiring! :S hahahas!

but it was all worth it in the end because there was great food, great ambience and great company! luckily da jie reserved a table for 14 if not we would have had to wait for super long! (: we ordered a roast duck pizza together with tendori pizza and a seafood platter! yums! the roast duck pizza was the best! :D

being adventurous, i decided to drink alcohol! :P ash, sab,shiru and i ordered a bucket of heiniken beer! all i can say is that the beer was shiok when it was cold but it tasted horrible when it becoome room temp! :S while pok was drinking snowball! subsequently, we were joined by xin yun, pam, edwin and yan wei! everyone ordered diff drinks and we were trying out each others drinks! xin yun's long island was the nicest (: but alas! sab's gin and tonic tasted like insecticide while da jie's second cup of drink tasted like herbal medicine :s hahahas! the triumph thing is that i didnt get drunk and my face didnt flush red! :D

apart from sab, there were another 2 guys celebrating their birthdays on the same day! we made a super super mushy dedication to sab! :D

i bought an oven! recently i bought a receipe book for cookies and cake! and they looked so yummy that i couldnt resist buying an oven to bake them! :D yesh! i am attempting to make my firsdt batch of cookies by this week! wish me luck!

arts quiz on mon! super tiring! i was running the distance from lt 14 to as3 abt 5-6 times and in the end, my shoe came apart! grrr! had to drag my feet for the rest of the night! with prelims down, there is only semis and finals left! i hope everything will go smoothly and i can finally put one project behind me! march pls be over soon! i'm so busy i barely have time to breathe! but seriously grateful to the people who stayed back to help as facilitators on monday night! big big thank you! HORS SAB?! hahahas! met sab and ash for VALKYRIE yest. my god! i was super late and the best thing is that i forgot to bring my phone!! everyone on the train looked super hostile and i didnt dare to borrow any of their phone! thank god the sbs pple walk past and i borrowed their phone! i didnt rmb sab or ash number so in the end i called dory to call shiru to call sab to tell her that i will be late and to wait for me outside the cinema! from now on, i swear to memorise more phone numbers!

anyways, VALKYRIE looked like a foreign film to me and when i asked sab, she told me that it was in arabic! so i went into the cinema thinking that i have to rely on subtitles for the next 2 hours! but its in eng! grrr sab! hahahhaas!

the movie was not bad! though it can ur heart stop a lot times with the sudden bomb blast or shootings!! ash still laugh at me saying that he bet i didnt understand the story pplot! hmph! excuse me!! i am a history student afterall!!!

today's school was fun fun fun! me, xinyun, pok and sab spent like a bomb on the basketball machine at the central forum!! we jus kept changing the tokens! we had doubles, singles, vs! ohmitian! super tired!! hahahhas! doubles with xin yun need to buy insurance de! cause you never know when you will be killed by a flying basketball!! hahahhas! :D and i was the one who was doubling with her against pok and sab!!

ahahahas! and we gathered a lot of inside joke today!! whahahahahs! :D

happy valentine's day to my loves! it might have been friday the 13th yest but i had one of the most fantabulous times of my life! :D for the very very first time, my mum allowed me to stay over for chalet! :D yayness!

yest went by in a frenzy and i cant really rmb-ed what i did! hahahas! basically there was a lot of rounds of taboo, camwhoring, eating, chatting, laughing and wii-ing (: i didnt realise that taboo was such a popular game! hahahs! i wan to post 2 very classic things that i said duing taboo! whahahas!

1) mistletoe: you zu(4) zu(4) under this thing! (basically everyone was stunned when they heard me say this and only sally mangaed to guess the word!)

2) 3D: what is sold at singapore pools? ash went on to guess toto, horse racing, 4D.den i said 4D minus 1 and they managed to get the answer! hahahas!

its really interesting to see how people interpret the words and try to get their team mates to guess the word! hahahas!

shiru's bday cake was super nice! :D star shape! ((: this time the cake i really didnt know how to cut and her brother attmepted to cut it without much success too! hahahas! i was the official photographer that night! i had 2 cameras in my hand! one was mine own and one was shiru de! i captured a lot of unglam shots! :D

hong ping, xinyun,sab, zhijun, ash, ysl, yanwei, edwin, ivan and me stayed over together with shiru, kian wei and 2 of her jc frens. some of us were playing mahjong, some wii-ing and others playing random games with the poker cards and chucky! the punishment was to drink beer! and we attempted to finish one can of beer before going on to the next game! jus when i was trying as much as i can to avoid the alcohol, i always end up losing and had to drink! luckily i didnt go tipsy! my face only became super red!

went to bed at around 5.30 though as much as i wanted to watch the sunrise! hahahs! everyone was too tired out! and i was sharing a bed with zhijun, ash and hong ping shared a bed, yanwei was on the floor, sab and xin yun were sleeping on the floor with the cushions from the sofa, edwin and ivan were sleeping on the sofa, while shiru and her jc frens were in the other room. up to now , i have no idea where ysl slept! hahahas!

we struggled to wake up cause we needed to check out at 10. after packing and checking out, sab, ash, yanwei, ysl, xin yun and me went for breakfast at fish and co express but it turns out that it was not open until 11. so we killed time at the arcade! yay! me and sab make the perfect basketball partners! whahahas! wr managed to win the guys twice and we even managed to break our all time high score with 232! ((: with the coupons that we win, we changed 7 boxes of lead, one for everyone with one extra! (:

after brunch, everyone had the comfort of heading home to sleep! only i had ot go for tuition! )): sadness! a twist of events and it turned out tat i got a lift from xin yun's mum all the way to farrer park (: anyways, thank god my tutees were distracting me from falling asleep by bickering and asking me a lot of random ques! i swear my eye lids were dropping and i was yawning like every 1 min! this is how tired i was! off to replenish my sleep!

ps: i forgot to mention that hong ping left earlier than us and he left behind a note and chocolates to which he said 'love from friends, family, hamster and cat!' and we were like WHAT?? hahahas!

it has been a pretty upsetting week and i dun wish to mention anything here. i said before that i would face everything in 2009 with a smile and i wouldnt waste my time blogging abt upsetting things here.

we had a lo hei session in sch on fri! i brought jo the bear to sch! because his godma sab say tht he has to personally bai nian! aiyoyo! he was super big and when i sai him into my bag, my bagcouldn close! and i couldnt take my things right at the bottom of my bag!

when pple lo hei, they will usually say the auspicious stuff but all we did when we lo hei was to 'huat ar!' and pok was the loudest huat-ing beside me! whahahas! a lot of the ingredients ended up on our hands and the table! but it was by far one of the nicest lo hei i ate this year! ((:


when sab gave us the ang pao we were trying to feel what kind of sweet she put inside and sherman even said that it felt like candy cane left over from x'mas! hahahas! it turned out to be those bubbles that we blow when we were younger! hahahas! trust sab to think of something so creative sia! :D


fri night my grams came to stay over and we played mahjong through the night! :D i lost 20 bucks tho )):


sat a portion of 4dee came over for a mini gathering(: liwen, bao xian, tricia, ming yee, mann ying, jovena, yuyin, maggie, ying han, wulin and anqi (: basically the whole time we were playing black jack :p


our lowest bet was 10 cents and our highest bet can only be 20 cents! ohmitian! no kick! hahahs! but i still managed to lose abt 5 bucks!


there was the curse of 22 and the curse of 5 cents! there was this 2 5 cents going ard and everyone was trying to avoid getting the 2 5 cents cause apparently whoever who get the 2 5 cents will burst 21! and i was super sway! whenever i try my hand at 五龙, i tihnk 9 out of 10 times i will get 22 and have to pay the banker double! grrr! hahahas!

we had dinner/supper at 9 cause kfc missed our order! bleahx! me, tricia, ming yee and jovena has fortune feast and we were the last to finish our meal. so everyone left first and left the 4 of us behind. in the end, we gossip until abt 11.30 :p.. i didnt realise how much i miss these girls until yest! more 4dee class outings to come! :D


today went to my cousin's new house for mahjong and black jack! what else can we do when my mum's side of the family gathers together! hahahas!

my cousin has offered his house as a study place for me and jiemei during exam period! yay! cause he know that we cant study at home and we dun like to fight for seats with pple in nus! since he and his wife to be are home late so he offered us his house! yayness!

chinese new year this year was simply awesome! the one week before cny, i was going cny shopping every night and pok called me aunty because of it! tsk tsk! on thurs, shiru and xin yun accompanied me round vivo and harbourfront centre looking for THE DRESS! 2 hours and numerous dresses later, we found the perfect dress at south haven! but alas, they only have the dress left in green, no more red! but they managed to reserved one of the red pieces at other branches ((:





had reunion dinner with alpheus on fri (: we had steamboat at cong qing! we occupied 2 tables and i was sharing the pot with sab, ash, edwin, leon and melvin. halfway through, they decided to boycott the chicken soup because i threw a egg into the soup, shell and all, because i wanted hard boil egg! :P den they say will get posioning! bleahx! even melvin who couldnt take spicyness decided to cook his food in the tom yam soup instead! it was only after 2 refilling of the soup that they dared to drink the chicken soup again!





i was trying to reassure them that there was nothing wrong with the soup! but alas! when i got home, i had stomachache and had to run to the toilet like the whole night! fun and fulfilling time with them! (:





reunion dinner with my family on sunday as da bomb too! :D cause i'm very proud of myself for cooking 2 of the 5 dishes! :D whahahs! on chu xi, i was still looking ard for trad chinese costumes for jo and jojo! but hougang didnt have any stores selling such costumes for such size !sigh! so in the end, i dress jo in his original tux! :D





i only left jo the bear in car for chu yi cause my dad's side of the family doesnt exactly got a fun side! i brought jo along for chu er to my aunt's house and bingo! he managed to earn 3 ang paos for me from my auntys! :D whahahahas! i always love chu er cause its gambling!! i won 30 plus this year from mahjong and black jack! i think the alumnac is accurate! in the year of the ox, the snake has a lot of luck in gambling! :D

赤壁!! i watched both part one and part 2 of the movie within 2 days! ash lent me his external disk which had the downloaded (opps!) version of chibi one and i was rushing it on wed! my free day! :D

watched chibi with ash, sab, xin yun, ivan, pam and edwin yest! the second part of the show was abt 3 hours! sit until butt ache! :D they say watch movie with me very nosiy because i will laugh super loudly and whenever there are gory scenes, i will eeei! plus when one of the guys hug the girls, i will go '吃豆腐!' whahahahas! this is called entertaining! not noisy! :p

argh! 冬菇and蘑菇！they are going to be the death of me! i was eating yong tau foo for dinner den i exclaimed that their dong gu tasted weird! ash who was beside me say that that that was not dong gu! it was mo gu! and he was very sure cause he said that his grandma had been telling him so for the past 20 years! den i told him that i who cook more than him cant be possibly wrong! den we had a bet to go to giant and see what is dong gu and what is mo gu! the bet was a stick of vitagen!

we could find mou gu in giant but cant find dong gu! so i told ash to take a packet of 花菇that looked like dong gu and asked the pack veggie person whether it is dong gu and mo gu! and the person told him that it was MO GU! but i dun believe! so i took the same packet of hua gu and ask another person if it was dong gu or mo gu! AGAIN, THE PERSON SAY THAT IT WAS MO GU!! ))): so i had to buy a stick of vitagen!! argh!! how can i be wrong?? i am going to prove to you one day uncle chong the difference between dong gu and mo gu!!

sch started today and the weekend before sch starts, i was still playing like mad! :D

dinner with alpheus at bird nest cafe. i finished tuition earlier and hence met the girls earlier for arcade! i think the arcade has become our new fave hang out spot! and our fave games are basketball, racing and bishi bashi! yanwei tried to compete with pok for bishi bashi but still... our dear pok is the undisputable champion!!

when edwin came, we had 8 pple so we occupied 4 basketball machines. i was partnering pok and we had the HIGH HIGH score of 141 among everyone! yayness! what more can i say? pok grows up in an arcade!

and i saw a super classic thing! there was this girl who was holding a book and testing gthe brakes and all at one of the racing car machines! and pok thought that the content in the book looked very familiar and we realised that it was a basic theory driving book! ohmitian! the girl was trying to practise her driving at a arcade game! whahahs! we were trying to contain our laughter until the girl was out of earshot! :D

we ordered 4 main dishes and dim sum. one of the rice dish have only ONE abalone and there was 8 of us! so being the nice and fair person that i was, i cut the abalone into 8 pieces so everyone had a slice! :D i was already super full but everyone still said that they were hungry! so we went to ps for second round!

to burn off the calories, we went back to arcade and play basketball and racing plus take neoprints! the dhoby ghaut neoprint very cheap! $5 only!

there was this super super cute winnie the pooh and i wanted to kiap it! but i failed after 2 attempts! its was sooo uber cute!! boo hooo! den i attempted to kiap a winnie the pooh keychain and i failed too! i need my dad for this kind of things!

this dinner we wanted to have a colour theme so take photo nicer! but it turned out that sab forgot to tell edwin and edwin to wear yellow! so the 3 of them came in white while yanwei, me, zhijun and pok came in yellow! we fit the colours of banana and hence sat's dinner was known as banana day! :D

was supposed to go wild wild wet but changed to sentosa instead (: this time there was hong ping, zhijun, yanwei, sab, edwin, ash, shiru and me. we were supposed to meet at 11 but in the end, all the msgs that i received in the morn was 'i am going to be late'! whahahs! i was late myself too! because half way den i realised that i forgot to bring the picnic mats and i had to detour home and detour home to demolish my storeroom before i foind the mats!

we bought food, drinks and snacks form giant! we even bought chesse, ham and bread to make sandwich! this i got to hand it to them! hahahs! we went to kfc for lunch before heading over to sentosa! and by the time we reached sentosa, it was already 1 plus! hong ping was still asking if they are pple who go sentosa as late as us!:D

zhijun has a very classic moment too! she jus bought the frisbee and she wanted edwin who was walking in front to catch it for her! edwin was holding quite a number of things and he was quite reluntant to catch the frisbee! but zhijun keep begging him until he say yes. but our dear zhijun threw the frisbee into the roof of a pavilion! we were stunned for a moment and den we jus started laughing and laughing non stop! classic moment of 2009!! whahahahs! :D

we set our mats at palawan beach and we occupied ourself with volleyball and frisbee! when we realised that our volleyball was too lousy, we switched to frisbee monkey! zhijun taught us a new game chucky! initially we planned on land but it was subsequently moved into the sea! i wanted to go in too but cant! brawls!

but in the end i gave in to temptation and jumped straight into the water! no turning back! whahahs! we played games like captain's ball, elope, ji ge ji ge zhan qi lai, hai dai etc! super tiring! whahhas! when we were playing half way, there was this group of pple who dared a birthday boy to come and ask us for our numbers to embarras him! he was rejected by me, sab and shiru! whahahs! until zhijun say that she will give him a number if he does a chicken dance in the middle of the sea which he relly did! but zhijun gave a fake number! :D

when our stomaches started growling, it was back to the picnic basket! for our snadwich! which was literally filled with sand!! the drinks tasted weird after a day in the sun! zhijun and yanwei had to rush for a bbq so we went to wash up soon after! right after it started to rain!

whahhas! the rest of us had dinenr at vivo and shopped ard! i went chinatown to find my mum and dad while the rest decided whether or not to watch movie! (((:

fun fun fun weekend!! 2009 is off to a good start and promises to be a blast!! ((:

whoo hoo! finally got a much needed rest on friday! hahahs! last week of the hols so mus play and play to my heart's content! which i did this week! :D

monday
had the first arts quiz meeting with my DPDs at vivo. mangaed to settle on the direction of the project and hopefully all goes well (:
met dory for dinner after that! (: we ate at changing appetite cause i simply had to have the da bomb mudpie! :D this time i had a different dish! some cheesy mushroom thingie which was also da bomb! :p this dinner was meant for x'mas day but we had it on the 12th and last day of x'mas (: thanks for the lovely x'mas present dory!
we were walking ard marina square after dinner and dory saw a pair of engin red shoes which she wanted to buy but didnt have her size! so she settled for a golden pair instead! we are going to have 2 mods togethe next sem! yayness!:D

kboxing with jesmine, da jie and ash at cine! :D highness!! da jie and i jus have to start and end every kbox session with 小酒窝 by jj lin! :D as usual, we had a camwhoring session as well! :D
the best part of tuesday was that i managed to buy my basket bag!! the basket bag which i have been pinning for since the day i saw it and didnt managed to get it! in the end, da jie loved the basket bags as much as me and both of us bought one each! we have new bags for school! :D dun go green with evny! whahahahs!

wed
went over for klunch at downtown east with the MC. me, grace, alson, zi cheng, jun yue and zikang. for the first time in my kboxing life, other than with my jiemei, there is someone who is willing to sing 5566's hao jiu bu jian with me!! :D and the person is none other than jun yue! whahahs! so unlikely! :P
after klunch, it was off to pam' house for a wii session! me and xin yun were late cause the stupid bus betwen downtown east and the interchange took soooo long!! we played burping rabbit which was tedious exercise in cover! whahahhas! but the games were real fun tho! when jay came, we played mario kart, cooking mama and wii sports! boxing is a tiring game! all in all, wii also brews violence and unglamness! our photos can testify to that! :D
had dinner cum supper after wii! delicious food! down the drain went my diet plan! opps! :D reached home at abt 12! tired but a happy girl!

thurs
i woke up with muscle aches! off to xuewei's house for mahjong session with justina and kailing! i was the 2nd to arrive and xuewei greeted me at the door with bad news! kailing was MIA and her phone couldnt call through. lucky kailing turned up at abt 1 and we started our mahjong cum gossip session! :D we set a record! we took 4 hours to finish ONE round of mahjogn only! hahhas! cause after a few games, we will walk ard and chiong to the laptop for bidding and facebooking! i won $13 (:
went home for dinner and met them again wih sheri this time at compass point for dessert and even more gossips! :D

fri
rest day at home! i woke up at 12.45! jus in time for bidding! :p

wild wild wet this sun with sab, shiru, hong ping and xin yun! yayness! :D i am online shopping AGAIN!! this time for bags! which are dirt cheap! :D

BIDDING STARTS TODAY!! i hate bidding! met up with pok, sab and xin yun to do bidding today at city hall. i was the earliest this time! not only on time but 10 mins earlier too! :D

i realised that i cant bid all my mods today! and the thing is that my chinese mod and sea mod exam date clash so i have to look for another mod now! its making my head go big!

half way through bidding, i started to browse the websites that sirta gave me for online shopping! i have become addicted to online shopping recently! a lot of pretty clothes! and everyone started to divert their attention from teh bidding website! hahahas! and the most visited website by us is FACEBOOK! cause SABBY FINALLY HAS A FACEBOOK ACCOUNT!!

we went shokudo for lunch! super filling de! we were there from 1.30 to 4! goodness! times seems to fly when you are laughing your heads off! i think i was bitten by the laughing bug cause i started to laugh at the littest things and tell super cold jokes which only i laugh at! :S whahahahs!

we went to marina arcade after lunch to digest food! we wanted to play basketball but that chui arcade dun have! so in the end, we played car racing! and i was the last! xin yun's fault! i was 2nd de! den her car flip in front of me and my car also flip den i become 4th! haiyo! hahaha! da jie joined us jus in time for bishi bashi!! there were 3 players and 5 of us so we took turns! all i can say is that everyone's hand was shaking after playing and pok is the undisputed champion at bishi bashi! i think she hides one machine at home an practise everyday!! :D

i hate bidding! like monitorin the stock market! and there are pple who spoil market by throwing in thousands of points! my heart goes up and down like the stock market! argh!!

2009 has come and my main resolution this year is to face everything with a smile! 只要笑一笑，没什么过不了！i'm ready to say good bye to sucky 2008 and welcome a fantastic 2009!

2008 wasnt totally sucky tho! mneeting alpehus was the highlight of 2008! school life would be drastically different without them! thanks alpehus for the many smiles, laughter and fun that you have given me! the biggest present of all is JO THE BEAR! cheerios to many more happy moments to come in 2009! i have my camera ready to take loads and loads more of photos! :D and for the many darlings that i have met along the way too! may 2009 be a blast! :D

happy 2009! 2009 is off to a good start! countdown was chalet with my family and relatives at downtown east! shiokness!

mahjong, dvds, wild wild wet, black jack, BBQ, cam whore, loved ones, good food.. what more can i ask for?! hahahs!

the last time that i was at wild wild wet was 2 donkey years ago and with the free tix that comes with the chalet, how could we give up the chance? hahahs! so me, my brother and jiemei had a day of fun in the sun and water! whahahs!:D super burned now. this time i had the guts to take the samsung ride! with my brother and god was he heavy! ironically, all that i rmb from the ride was screaming and screaming and screaming!! ahahahs! i dun even rmb the feeling of the float going down!

jiemei and i bought 2 cans of party spray and we hid it in the cupboard! with 5 mins to countdown, we wanted to lure everyone out to the BBQ pit but they wanted to stay in the room for the aircon so no choice! when the clock struck 12, we sprayed the party spray at them and boy did they get a shock! :D den we popped sparkling juice and yam sheng-ed! cheers to a new year!! yeah!
